Celebrate in Savannah
There are plenty of things that draw people to Savannah - the weather, the history, the sweet tea and the southern hospitality. Another big attraction is the cultural vibrancy of Georgia's first city. Our town is much smaller than the sprawling metropolis of Atlanta, but offers a plethora of cultural activities to entertain the tourist and also the permanent resident.
Even now, our city fountains have been dyed green and shamrocks decorate front doors while the azaleas show off their spring blooms. Friday, on St. Patrick's Day, more than 300,000 people are expected to line the streets of downtown Savannah for the parade, which has been a fixture here since 1824. The events kick off with a mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, with the parade following at 10:15.
If you're in town for St. Patrick's Day, take a break from the festivities and let us show you around our neighborhood! At Autumn Lake, we have townhomes
and family homes
situated close to all the action, but still in a quiet, natural setting. We're pretty sure you'll feel like you found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when you see how lovely living can be at Autumn Lake!
